At AWEI, we empower women and girls in Kasese, Uganda, through programs that foster lasting change. We offer vocational training to help women and girls gain practical skills for financial independence and support sustainable agricultural practices that enhance livelihoods and protect the environment. We raise awareness around HIV/AIDS and provide women and girls with reusable sanitary pads to support their reproductive health.

Our initiatives also focus on supporting girls' education and promoting gender equality by combating gender-based violence within the home. Additionally, we work to reduce waterborne diseases by improving access to clean, safe water for women and their communities. Through these efforts, AWEI is creating a future where women lead and communities thrive.
